Inflation rate in Bulgaria since the beginning of 2019 is at 1.8%, statistics

The CPI for May 2019 compared to April 2019 is 100.1%, i.e., monthly inflation rate is at 0.1%. Inflation since the beginning of the year (May 2019 compared to December 2018) was at 1.8% and annual inflation in May 2019 compared to May 2018 was at 3.5%, the National Statistical institute (NSI) said on 14^th of June.

Average annual inflation rate for the June 2018 - May 2019 period compared to June 2017 to May 2018 was at 3.3%.

In May 2019, prices of medicines and medical services remained at the level of the previous month and prices of dental services increased by 0.2%.

The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices for May 2019 compared to April 2019. is 100.2%; monthly inflation rate is at 0.2%. Inflation since the beginning of the year (May 2019 compared to December 2018) was at 1.5% and annual inflation rate in May 2019 compared to May 2018 was at 2.9%.

The average annual inflation rate for the period June 2018 - May 2019 compared to June 2017 - May 2018 is at 3.0%.
