Bulgarian traffic police announced that there will be intensive checks on the roads throughout the country from 1st of November as part of the operation “Winter”. It is intended to ensure that vehicles are ready for driving in winter conditions.
Drivers are required to have winter tires on their cars, working headlights and windshield cleaners.
In the event of violations, drivers will be subject to sanctions.
