Ivailo Ivanov appointed as Interior Ministry chief secretary

Bulgaria’s Interior Minister Mladen Marinov announced on 20^th of December that the President had signed the decree for the appointment of Ivailo Ivanov as Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior.

Increasing the professional capacity of the Ministry of Interior staff and raising the public's trust towards policemen are among his priorities.

Ivailo Ivanov: As Chief Secretary, I step in on a very good foundation, as the former Chief Secretary is now the Minister of the Interior, and with my other colleagues I worked closely while I was the Head of Sofia Directorate of the Ministry of Interior. The principle of team work is very important for the Ministry of Interior and this is the main one.
