Since the beginning of the year until 2.30 pm on December 30, Bulgaria’s Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant generated 16,555,000 MWh of electricity in compliance with all requirements for safe operation, thus reaching the peak of last year, the plant's press office said.
In the remaining hours until the end of 2020, Units 5 and 6 are expected to set a new production record and generate a total of 16,626,000 MWh.
With its work, maintaining its stable and reliable character even in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, Kozloduy NPP has once again proved its key role as a major electricity producer in the country.
