More than 100 litres of rain per sq. m. have fallen for one hour in the village of Odartsi, Dobrich area, North-East of Bulgaria on 12th of October. The water started to come from the nearby flooded agricultural land. Many houses were flooded. Power supply was switched off. From the village of Odarttsi, the water moved to the village of Batovo. In the lower parts of the village, the water level reached 1 m. The asphalt on the recently repaired road was damaged.
The torrential rains on 11th of October caused landslides in the coastal city of Varna. The residents of the nearby houses were evacuated.
