On 18th of August, a list of creditors of Corporate Commercial Bank (CCB) was published on the website of the Commercial Register. The list can be accessed through electronic signature. It will become publicly available after the data is processed.
Individuals and companies can see the receivables recognized by the receivers.
Three banks are among the first to receive their funds after the assets of the collapsed CCB are monetized – the German Commerzbank, the French Societe Generale and the Bulgarian Development Bank.
CCB’s biggest creditor is Bulgaria’s Deposit Insurance Fund which paid over 3 and a half billion BGN to depositors with guaranteed deposits.
Almost all energy companies are among the creditors of CCB. Bulgarian Telecommunication Company (BTC), Bulgartabak and some weapon trading companies such as Kintex are also in the list.
The list does not contain many names of politicians. The Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov and former prime minister Ivan Kostov, known to have had deposits in CCB, are not in it.
