The Military Medical Academy has received three of the latest generation low-temperature freezers for storing the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines.
The freezer for the military hospital in Sofia was delivered today, December 8. The other two will be delivered to the military hospitals in Varna and Plovdiv.
These are inverter compressors of the leader Sanyo/Panasonic, providing for the first time and the only in the world, change in the speed of the compressors. Inverter compressors also ensure fast reaching of the desired ultra-low temperature due to higher speeds.
Vacuum insulation panels provide additional storage space for vaccines, saving energy due to exceptional insulation.
The freezers reach a temperature of -50 to -90 degrees, they have 845-litre capacity or 200,000 vaccines each.
