The MPs on December 18 approved the purchase of vaccines against COVID-19. They ratified a resale support agreement from and between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Sweden and Janssen Pharmaceutica NV for the purchase and supply of a vaccine against COVID-19 for Bulgaria.
This is done so that Bulgaria can receive 2 million vaccines developed by the Swedish pharmaceutical company under preliminary agreements concluded with vaccine suppliers by the European Commission.
The National Assembly also approved the decision of the Council of Ministers to purchase the CureVac and Moderna vaccines.
