The coalition talks between the Centre-right GERB and the Reformist Bloc continue. On 3rd of November the Parliamentary Group of the reformists met to discuss the text of the proposed government programme and priorities, which are expected to be adopted and signed. After the meeting, the leader of a Reformist Bloc’s member party “Democrats for Strong Bulgaria” (DSB), Radan Kanev, talked with Menda Stoyanova and Roumyana Bachvarova from GERB.
The political talks held on 3rd of November did not reveal the official allocation of ministerial seats in the future government. Radan Kanev said he would not take part in the Executive, but high level figures would take part in it. He also explained that the programme should be first agreed and adopted, before any personal appointments are made.
Roumyana Bachvarova from GERB said that there wouldn’t be any surprises in the structure of the new cabinet. She said that GERB were pleased with the progress of the negotiations so far. She said the parties were doing their best to finalise the negotiations as soon as possible, but couldn’t point a specific deadline.
Together with the ongoing negotiations on forming a new government, the political forces started exchanging of meaning in song lyrics through Facebook.
DSB’s leader, Radan Kanev, shared AC/DC’s “Stiff Upper Lip”, while GERB’s Boyko Borissov responded with Aloe Blacc’s “Ticking Bomb”.
Radan Kanev said that he often shared music in Facebook, usually heavy metal, and added it depended on the mood.
Following the political exchange of music in the social networks, some are now awaiting to see what the soundtrack of the next cabinet would be.
