The price of natural gas in Bulgaria increases by 20% as of today, June 1. This was decided by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission.
In June, the natural gas will cost BGN 45.27 per megawatt-hour.
The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission specified that the new higher gas price will not result in increase in prices of heating and electricity in June.
Tomorrow, the energy watchdog will hold a public discussion of the prices of electricity and heating after July 1.
