110 new buses will be provided for 15 lines of the public transport in Sofia by the beginning of September. The new buses will be equipped with air conditioners, video surveillance and free Wi-Fi.
The director of Sofia Autotrasnport EAD, Stilyan Manolov told BNT morning programme on 8th of
August that the new 110 buses will be phased in by the beginning of September. He said that the oldest buses will be phased out and gradually replaced by new ones. He added that under the programme for renovation and development of the public transport in Sofia, 200 new vehicles are expected to start operating in Sofia in the next two years.
