In addition to the size of the wages, staff shortages and working conditions are also a problem. The protesters said that for their qualified and responsible work, they receive a salary of BGN 500 (Euro 250) per month and this is humiliation for them.
For years, the hospital has not appointed any recently graduated nurses and the average age of the nurses is 50 years.
