Next week, the Bulgarian socialist Party (BSP for Bulgaria) will begin consultations with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and Volya party on tabling a vote of no confidence motion against the government, left-wing leader Kornelia Ninova said on 2nd of November. She added that she intends to table the no confidence motion on the grounds of corruption.
The BSP is aware that it will not gather enough votes to allow the vote to pass but pointed out that it has political ends. GERB, the majority partner in the ruling coalition said the opposition has the right to table a no-confidence vote. However, they think they will hear a lot of untruths during the debate and it will be a waste of parliamentary time.
