The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has been mobilized and is going to the parliamentary elections in order to win, the party's deputy chair Atanas Zafirov said on January 14. He said the BSP was ready for elections on April 4. As regards possible changes to the electoral code, the party will take an active part in the debate.
The BSP has always had a clear and consistent policy on the date of the parliamentary elections. We are ready to accept any lawful date proposed by the President, Zafirov said.
The attitudes and expectations in the Bulgarian society for change are so strong that hardly any date would change the results of these elections, Zafirov added.
