Pancharevo Lake is an artificial lake in Western Bulgaria, located 12 km southeast of the centre of Sofia, between Vitosha Mountain and Lozenska Mountain, at the end of the Pancharevo Gorge of the Iskar River.
A panoramic view of the entire water area, Vitosha, Plana mountain, the villages of Pancharevo, Kokalyane, part of Sofia and Lyulin mountain are seen from the higher places of Lozenska mountain.
Some choose Pancharevo Lake for fishing, others for boat rides.
This is how BNT photojournalist Dessislava Kulelieva saw Pancharevo Lake on one of the last warm autumn days.
