Traffic through the Pass of the Republic was temporarily suspended on February 18 to allow the removal of a lorry that crashed earlier near the village of Pchelinovo in Stara Zagora district.
Police teams will divert cars via the Shipka Pass, while heavy goods vehicles will be allowed through only as far as the recovery site, where they will be required to wait.
The temporary traffic arrangements at the Pass of the Republic are expected to remain in place for around two hours.
