Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov congratulated the students on the occasion of their holiday - December 8.
In his Facebook profile, he wished them to be healthy, independent, purposeful and responsible.
"Today, more than ever, we need decent and educated people. You are the future of Bulgaria and it is up to you to preserve it - with traditions, values, morals, but also to develop it as a modern European country," Borissov wrote.
December 8th is the official holiday of the Bulgarian univesrsity students. The holiday first started being celebrated in 1903, on occasion of the 15th anniversary of Sofia University and became the holiday of all students in Bulgaria.
