A new workshop with 100 jobs was opened on 21st of May at a Karapelit oil production plant. The investment is for 3 million euros. According to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, this is a good example as the plant invests in the training of local school staff and new technologies.
80% of the oil produced here and the rest of the output goes to export.
The new workshop is for oil extraction. The € 3 million investment has been invested in a new automated line.
The plant manager says this means that in addition to the larger capacity - 300 tonnes per day processed produce, there will be higher production quality and less environmental pollution.
Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, who attended the opening of the workshop, commented that this is a good example of investor actions.
