A large group of illegal migrants was apprehended in the morning on March 30 on Trakia motorway near Bulgaria’s second largest city of Plovdiv.
They were brought to the Rakovski district police station. According to BNT sources, the illegal migrants were transported by two men.
According to unconfirmed information, this is a large group of Afghans, including more than 30 people, young men and boys who are without documents..
They were captured in the area of the 146th kilometre of Trakia motorway, near Belozem.
The case is being investigated. Interpreters are helping to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the entry of the group of migrants on Bulgarian territory.
According to BNT sources, the migrants were transported by two Bulgarians in a white van.
Inspections were made and evidence was taken from the vehicle.
