Counterfeit goods at a value of more than 1,3 million BGN were seized from three traders in Varna during a special police operation targeting intellectual property crimes, the press office of the Police in Varna said on 9th of August.
Some 13,000 items by famous brands were seized from a shop in the centre of the Black Sea coastal city of Varna. The goods were sold without the consent and knowledge of the brand owners.
The police also identified two offenders in Golden sands resort. During a check in a shop selling leather belts and accessories for mobile phones, the police found that the shop owner did not have the consent of the brand owners.
The second offender sold counterfeit bags.
