Bulgaria’s Head of State, President Rosen Plevneliev, sent condolences to his Macedonian counterpart, Gjorge Ivanov, over the flash floods which left many people dead and injured.
“Such tragedies remind us how important it is to be united in difficult times,” Plevneliev said in his cable to Ivanov. “We mourn with you, “ the President added.
The Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte also expressed his condolences for the victims of the disaster. “With unwavering faith in God's providence, mercy and love, we pray to God - to give comfort to all grieving and the early recovery of the injured," the letter said.
