Princess Teofana Aladzhova von Saxen-Katte was welcomed with an official ceremony at the Hospital in the town of Teteven, Central Northern Bulgaria. She made a donation to the hospital, 32 mechanical hospital beds with ABS head and foot panels, 15 hospital lockers, 15 antidecubital mattresses and 17 hospital bed mattresses the municipality said on 12th of February.
The equipment arrived from Germany in December.
Princess von Saxen is of Bulgarian origin. She has donated funds for various initiatives, including the installation of a monument to Stefan Stambolov in Veliko Turnovo. Thanks to her benefaction, more than 70 lorries with humanitarian aid were delivered to Bulgarian hospitals and children's homes.
She was presented with an Honorary Plaque from Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health in recognition of the donations she made for many years.
