The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, jointly with the Ministry of Interior, launched an information campaign aimed at prevention of telephone frauds, the victims of which are usually the most vulnerable groups of the population. Information videos have been produced within the campaign that used actual TV footage on this topic.
A total of 30 people, including the boss of the crime group, were arrested on 18th of April in a joint operation of the prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Interior against telephone fraudsters. 25 of them were detained in Romania.
