Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev met with the President of Bulgaria’s Parliament, Tsveta Karayancheva on 5th of March. The meeting was also attended by MPs from the Friendship Group between Bulgaria and Russia.
Later, Dmitry Medvedev and Tsveta Karayancheva presented flowers to the Monument to the Tsar Liberator in Sofia.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived on a two-day official visit to Bulgaria on 4th of March and met with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and President Rumen Radev. Medvedev is in Bulgaria at Borissov's invitation.
PM Medvedev was welcomed by PM Borissov in St. Alexander Nevski Square and laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
One-on-one talks between Borissov and Medvedev were followed by a plenary meeting of the two delegations. The focus was on bilateral cooperation in the areas of economy, energy, welfare and tourism.
