SELECTION OF BULGARIAN ENTRY FOR 2015 JUNIOR EUROVISION SONG CONTEST WILL BE LAUNCHED ON 17TH OF AUGUST

For a second consecutive year, the public service broadcaster, Bulgarian National Television, the private channel bTV and production company "Sedem Osmi" united efforts to bring the most successful performance of Bulgaria in the most prestigious junior music competition.

The 13th edition of Junior Eurovision will be held under the slogan #discover in line with the aspiration of all young people around the world to discover new horizons and fulfill their dreams.

“I have already achieved my dream to sing “Planet of the Children” in front of so many people. Now it’s time for other Bulgarian kids to make their dream come true" says Krisia, who last year took the runners-up trophy back to Sofia. "I want Europe to see once again that Bulgaria has something to be proud of".

The selection of the next entry to represent Bulgaria in the 2015 contest will be launched on 17th of August at 21:00 on bTV. The media will be showing the audition, semi-finals and the final of the selection during prime time. 24 acts will take part, which will be assessed by a jury of three members. The BNT representative on the jury will be nominated in the next days. Slavi Trifonov and Evgeni Dimitrov will be the representatives of bTV and the production company “Sedem Osmi”.

Twelve acts will qualify for the national final, four of which will be chosen by the public through both SMS and online voting.
