Unknown shooters opened fire at a crowded moving public bus on Bulgaria boulevard in the centre of Bulgaria’s capital Sofia in the evening on 16th of January. Fortunately, no one has been injured.
Shortly after 8:00 o’clock in the evening, passengers on the bus route 76 heard three shots which resulted in broken windows.
The bus driver explained that he was just leaving the bus stop when he heard a breaking window and immediately stopped the bus. He looked around but saw no one. Then he saw a woman on the bus next to the broken window. Fortunately, she was not injured.
The bus driver said in his opinion the shooters were three, two with bigger guns and one with a smaller one, because one of the shots broke the window, another one made just a whole. According to him, they were possibly in the yard of the nearby school because if they were on the pavement or at the bus stop he would have seen them.
For more than 2 hours, the police have been inspecting the place of the incident. An investigation has been launched against unknown perpetrator.
