Stage for new year concert in Sofia is ready

For 20^th year in a row, the Bulgarian National Television and Sofia Municipality will present viewers with an unforgettable concert for the New Year. The concert “Stage under the Stars” will start at 22:00 on 31st of December at Alexander Batenberg square in Sofia and will run until 01:00 on 1st of January.

The festive programme will feature famous Bulgarian musicians and groups.

The security measures will be very strict. Traffic of vehicles around the square will be restricted. People with alcohol in glass bottles, firecrackers and large baggage will not be allowed. Visitors are recommended to not carry umbrellas to avoid unpleasant incidents from breaking them.

The underground and other public transport will be running 24-hour service.

The concert will be broadcast live on BNT1.
