The "Third of March" regatta started in Bulgaria’s Varna

The sailing season in Bulgaria was opened on 1^st of March with the start of the traditional "Third of March" regatta in the coastal city of Varna. Some 20 crews from clubs from all over the country. Will take part in the competition. Besides being dedicated to the Liberation of Bulgaria, this year the regatta also will promote Varna as a European City of Sport.

Regatta "Third of March" starts in excellent conditions and wind from the west, which is good news for all contestants. The crews will compete to catch the wind in the waters of Varna Lake.

The programme includes seven races. The regatta will be recognized as valid if there are at least three races.
