Three groups of illegal migrants were detained in the past 24 hours in the region of the South-Eastern Bulgarian city of Bourgas. Fifty eight people were arrested.
On 19th of October, the detained are being interviewed with the help of an interpreter.
Two families with five children are Iraqi Kurds. The rest of the migrants claim they are from Afghanistan.
One of the groups were travelling in a minibus, the other migrants were travelling in five cars. The drivers of the cars were detained and fast track procedure on allegations in people smuggling was initiated against them.
The driver of the vehicle, in which the two families and children were found, is still being sought. He parked the car with the migrants almost in the centre of Bourgas and abandoned them.
After the interviews and the medical examinations the migrants will be taken to the refugee accommodation centre in the town of Elhovo.
