Three international companies want to invest in Belene Nuclear Power Plant, Temenuzhka Petkova, minister of energy said on 29th of August at the opening of the construction of a national reposotory for low- and intermediate-level waste at Kozloduy NPP.
Minister Petkova together with the head of the State Enterprise "Radioactive Waste" Dilyan Petrov turned the first shovel at the opening ceremony for the repository.
The project is implemented with funds from Kozloduy International Fund through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The start of the construction was given at Radiana site in the area of Kozloduy NPP.
