The Trakia Motorway has reopened to traffic after being closed for more than four hours on the stretch between Burgas and Zimnitsa.
The closure was caused by snowdrifts, strong winds reaching up to 72 km/h, a broken-down lorry and a minor chain collision involving several cars.

All vehicles have now been removed and the motorway cleared. Authorities say 45 snowploughs remain deployed across the region.
