Two groups of illegal migrants were detained in the regions of Strandhza and Burgas in South-East Bulgaria in the past two days (29th and 30th of September). One of the groups, including 27 people, was brought to the border police station in the town of Malko Tarnovo.
The other group of 60 people were detained near the Black Sea coastal city of Burgas. They are from Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. This is the first time such a big group of illegal migrants have been detained in the city.
On 1st of October, the migrants were transported to the refugee centre in the town of Elhovo.
