Two women died after a crash on 'Maritsa' motorway on July 4. The serious accident occurred in the afternoon, at 86 km, between the towns of Lyubimets and Svilengrad in the direction of "Kapitan Andreevo" border crossing.
On almost straight section of the road, a car hit the crash barrier. The two women travelling in the car died on the spot.
Another similar road accident occurred in the area this morning. The driver of a tanker crashed into the crash barrier at the road junction 'Kapitan Andreevo'. Nobody was injured, but traffic was restricted in one lane. The tanker was for ammonia, it was empty.
