Unemployment in Bulgaria fell by 2% this year compared to 2015, outgoing minister of labour and social affairs Zornitsa Russinova said.
In a ceremony on 15th of December, she presented the traditional awards "Employer of the Year". Awards were given to managers of 12 companies across the country, which employed more than 1,700 people in 2016.
Three employers were awarded in the category for the most significant contribution to the national labour market and other nine were awarded for contribution at regional level.
