Bulgaria in search of its new image before the world. The goal is to make the country recognizable and preferred for tourists as a destination during the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. At a discussion on January 30, Tourism Minister, Zaritsa Dinkova, said that we should work together for the content, not for the picture.
According to her, Bulgaria can have successful tourism only if the standard of living of the people is improved and the country is economically successful.
The first “Brand Bulgaria” strategy was created nearly 10 years ago, but the country has not yet achieved its tourism goals, according to experts in the field. They also propose to establish a special directorate under the administration of the Council of Ministers.
