Parallel vote count at 95% by Alpha research polling agency shows that former air force general Rumen Radev, an independent candidate backed by the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party won 25% of the votes and Tsetska Tsacheva, Speaker of Parliament, the candidate of the main ruling party, centre-right GERB, won 22.1% of the votes.
Voter turnout was 50.3%.
