The blockade at Danube Bridge 2 has been lifted after a meeting between Vidin district governor and the protesting drivers. Momchil Stankov said that a meeting would be held on 24th of January between the foreign ministers of Bulgaria and Romania in order to solve the issue with the queues at Danube Bridge 2.
4 lanes for freight vehicles are operational at the border check point. If necessary, cars will be let through with priority.
The meeting with the protesting drivers was also attended by the Head of Vidin Police, Yanko Yankolov.
A meeting will be held at the office of the district governor in the afternoon on 24th of January with representatives of the Bulgarian and Romanian authorities related to the work of Danube Bridge 2.
