BNT Initiates Book Donation Campaign for Bulgarian Schools Abroad

The Bulgarian National Television initiated a national donation campaign in support of Bulgarian schools abroad.

More than 20,000 Bulgarian pupils study Bulgarian language at schools abroad.

To support the education of Bulgarian children abroad, the Bulgarian National Television starts the "Window to the Homeland" initiative.

By September 15th, people can donate books, textbooks or handbooks for children up to 7th grade.

The collection of donations starts in the Helikon bookshops all over the country. Detailed information on new book collection points for the campaign can be obtained on the BNT website - www.bnt.bg.

BNT reporters will provide detailed information about the campaign's progress, the donations collected and the Bulgarian schools abroad, which will receive books and textbooks.

The initiative of the public media is supported by publishers, cultural institutes, public organizations and businesses. The donations to the Bulgarian schools abroad will be delivered free of charge by “Speedy” courier company.
