Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor submitted a request to the National Assembly on 20th of June seeking to lift the immunities of two MPs: Dimitar Gamishev from GERB and Manol Genov from the Bulgarian Socialist Party.
The request is related to proceedings initiated against the two MPs: against Gamishev - for speeding up and hitting a pedestrian and against Genov - for buying votes.
