"I want to thank President Plevneliev for inviting me to this meeting, which was symbolic and useful. This way, we ensure continuity in the presidential institution. We discussed many topics, including the current situation and the work of the presidential administration," Bulgaria’s President–elect, Rumen Radev, said on 14th of November following the first meeting with Bulgaria’s incumbent President Rossen Plevneliev.
At the invitation of President Plevneliev, the two discussed the possibility of mutually working on the next caretaker government and said they would hold consultations if there was a need for appointing a caretaker government.
Rumen Radev said it was too early to talk about advisers.
