This is Bulgaria's best result at
Eurovision so far. Bulgaria reached the Eurovision final twice before: back in 2007 with Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankulov and their entry Water, when they took 5th place and in 2016, when Poli Genova performing the song If Love Was a Crime, was voted into 4th place at the Grand Final of the 61st edition of Eurovision in Stockholm, Sweden
