On 26th of October, Bulgaria’s Minister of Defence Nikolai Nenchev signed a memorandum of understanding with NATO on cybersecurity.

The aim is to create opportunities for protection of national networks and critical infrastructure from cyber attacks. Nenchev and his counterparts discussed the Alliance’s commitments to restore the security in Afghanistan in the context of potential increase of migration wave.
Cooperation between EU and NATO in the area of defence was also among the topics of the discussions.

Minister Nenchev is attending the NATO Defence Ministers meeting, which is taking place in Brussels.
