Bulgarian and Spanish Authorities Disrupt Crime Group for Trafficking in Women

The victims have been misled about what they are going to for Spain. They were used for their social status, and some women were forced to steal.

Some women allegedly drugged their clients to take credit cards from them. Among the participants is the Mayor of Semchinovo village. Some of the girls worked for him and the money was acounted as income from farming.

Interestingly, many of the people allegedly involved in the group often traveled between the two countries. Several people were detained in Germany. The group operated on nine levels.
