Three people were injured during an incident with a Panther helicopter which crashed into the Black Sea, 7 miles east of the mouth of Kamchia river which around 12:30 on 9th of June.
Two of the crew were slightly injured and the third was in critical condition.
The machine was performing a maneuver during an exercise.
Crew members of the Drazki frigate and a diving team acted immediately to deliver first aid to the injured pilots.
The initial medical examination identified that the Captain of the helicopter crew, Georgi Anastasov, was with severe and life-threatening injuries.The other two crew members, Captain Pavel Simeonov and Captain Anatoli Apostolov, were adequate, without life threatening injuries.
