The functionality of the commercial register and the register of non-profit legal entities is fully recovered and it is operational as of 27th of August, Bulgaria’s Registry Agency announced.
All services related to the registry are now available on site at the Registry Agency and its regional structures.
From 4 p.m. today, all of the registry's functionality, available through Internet access, will also be restored.
The collapse in the Commercial Register system continued for more than two weeks. The crisis has led to the resignation of the director of the Registry Agency Zornitsa Daskalova.
The Commercial Register website stopped working on 10th of August. The Registry Agency said, the collapse in the database was due to a technical problem. All support companies, IT specialists, and other government agencies, including the State Agency for National Security and the Directorate for Combatting Organised Crime took part in resolving the problem.
