2016 was successful for Bulgarian tourism, Bulgaria’s caretaker Prime Minister Gerdzhikov said on 15th of February at the opening of the 34th International Tourism Fair VACATION / SPA EXPO in Inter Expo Center - Sofia. Seven million tourists visited Bulgaria in 2016.
Over 40 Bulgarian municipalities and 350 tourist companies represent the best and most interesting from their regions. Traditional crafts, food and attractions that are worth to see and try.
The event is organized by PRIM EXPO and it is held under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism. HOLIDAY&SPA EXPO is the largest tourist forum in Bulgaria, designed both for professionals and target audience. In 2016, more than 380 companies from Bulgaria and 22 countries took part in it.
National tourist organizations, associations and boards, tourist companies and agencies, hotels, balneological resorts and spa centers, municipalities, transport organizations, software companies and companies for hotel equipment are among the participants.
The event will run until 17th of February.
