On 22nd of June, Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Roumen Porozhanov, met with Tekla Harangozo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Bulgaria. They discussed active cooperation between the countries in the area of agriculture, both bilaterally and within the European Union. Minister Porozhanov pointed out that this was the way to support the positions and to more firmly protect the interests of farmers.
The Ambassador handed Minister Porozhanov an official invitation from the Minister of Agriculture of Hungary, Dr Sándor Fazekas, to attend the meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of the Visegrad Group and Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia in September this year.
During the meeting, Minister Porozhanov and the Hungarian ambassador also talked about the organization related to the celebration of the Day of Hungarian-Bulgarian Friendship in October this year.
