The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,096 from 13,800 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 21.
1,288 were confirmed from PCR and 808 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 60; Bourgas - 183; Varna - 163; Veliko Turnovo – 62; Vidin – 23; Vratsa - 40 Gabrovo – 51; Dobrich – 63; Kardzhali - 41; Kyustendil - 25; Lovech - 41; Montana - 30; Pazardzhik - 57; Pernik - 41; Pleven – 47; Plovdiv - 227; Razgrad - 13; Rousse - 98; Silistra - 30; Sliven - 36; Smolyan – 26; Sofia district - 81; Sofia city – 437; Stara Zagora - 88; Targovishte - 29; Haskovo - 48; Shoumen – 35; Yambol - 21.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 390,911.
The active cases are 61,120.
Of the total, 8,598 patients are in hospitals, 765 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,351 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 314,273;
· 47 medical professionals tested positive for the virus, bringing the total to date to 12,931
· 11,876 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 657,333;
· 106 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 15,518.
