An increase in the minimum wage by BGN 50 next year, thus becoming BGN 510 is the most likely option, according to Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov.
In addition, the cabinet is considering an exact rate for raising teachers' salaries. The new Minister of Education Krassimir Valchev promised a two-fold increase of the teachers' salaries in the four-year term.
The new Social Minister, Bisser Petkov, said that a priority in his area would be the reform in the system of disabled peoples’ pensions for a fairer distribution of public resources.
