French investors in Bulgaria are satisfied with the conditions for entrepreneurship, offered to them, French Ambassador Eric Lyobedel said for BNT during the first annual meeting of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 31st of January.
The event was hosted by the French Embassy. The Chamber represents over 120 French companies which have invested in the country. Special guest was the caretaker Minister of the Economy Teodor Sadlarski.
France is the tenth most important investor in the country. Over the past 20 years, French investments in Bulgaria reached a billion and a half euros.
Ambassador of France Eric Lyobedel said that he recently visited several Bulgarian cities, including Bulgari's second largest city of Plovdiv. "I met with French investors who appreciate being able to do business here - mostly because of the high level of education, the level of wages and the tax system," he added.
